While not as maneuverable as a Starfury, the Sentri is almost twice as fast. Although overpowered by other races' heavy fighters, the Centauri compensate for this through superior numbers. The Sentri fighter has an advanced autopilot system. This "intelligent" system monitors the activities of the Centauri pilot - flight path, current target, bio signs, etc. Should the pilot black out during high-G maneuvers, the autopilot will instantly take over the ship until the pilot awakens. |
