what do you use to make screenshots?

Unless you installed Fedora or another distro of Linux whose default xwindows environment has a ton of stuff, I'm not sure how to do screenshots in Linux, but in Windows, I usually make them with Adobe Photoshop. Just do a Print Screen and then paste into Photoshop.

Thinking about it, however, I should probably be using Microsoft Paint. In Windows XP, it supports saving stuff to gif / jpeg and it consumes a ton less memory than Photoshop does.

That said, what do you use?

Print Screen, and then paste it into Irfanview. If the computer doesn't have Irfanview on it, I just past it into MS Paint.

Usually print screen and paste into MS paint for quick low-quality-low-size images. Any that I want detail in or some other reason I use Adobe Photoshop Elements 2.0.

Print Screen, then bring into Photoshop. I pretty much always have Photoshop open for some reason or another.
