Just tried to make a post using the "and" symbol (it's too early, i forget it's name right now) and everything thereafter disappeared - went in and edited it and sure enough the whole post was there - strange...

That's strange.

I'm seeing everything in both of your posts, including everything after the ampersand. I looked in both IE6 and Firefox 1.0.

But I think that you use Firefox + WinXP as well, don't you? So I don't think that could be it.

Like I said, strange. Maybe Terra will know.

as an update, this isn't a problem with normal phpbb's nor does it seem to be a problem with the current version of my force word wrapping mod. however, that said, this board isn't running the current version of the force word wrapping mod. ie. as i've updated the force word wrapping mod, i've only selectively applied the updates here (i'm too lazy to update the whole thing, heh). i'll investigate it more, later.

Well, now I have a better idea of what it is, and why I did see the & symbol just fine before (notice you can see this fine now, even though I've used an & symbol twice now.

It only happens if the & symbol is the second to the last word in a post.

Any other place, and it has no effect.

Still though, I don't know what's causing it, but I'm sure it will help Terra figure it out.

That's one pretty bizarre bug. Actually since it isn't corrupting this thread, or any other threads, it must be a php bug rather than a SQL query bug. *smacks head....Duh!*

Does it do that with any thing you put after it or just the (HTTP, HTTPS....etc)? If not then I suppose that would be a pretty neat bug to hide your post. :D
