As I clasp your hand
Dragging you back,
Pleading for you each time
To take me back.
You tear away,
And rub away my touch,
Tears form in my eyes,
As a last resort.
I grab for you again,
And you push me away,
Glaring at my inner child,
To young for your mind.
Needing somebody to hug,
A living teddy bear,
To care each day,
Without reminder.
As you leave my side,
Always and forever,
My eyes follow you,
Never forgiving.
One last contact,
A blink of an eye,
Your train leaves the station,
And me behind.
