GOD! AAARGH!

Postby Neerowolf » Sat Aug 02, 2003 1:46 am

RRRRRRRRRRRR! I'm so pissed! I downloaded Macromedia flash to make my comics move tonight. I tried a bit, and after one hour, I was swearing and hitting my computer! Its so damn annoying! I can't bring my sprites in, and the paint system is so stupid! I swear I'm gonna hurt something, or someone! ARGH! Has anyone else tried this? I think it sucks! RRR!

Flash can take some time to get used to. Let me see if I can dig up some good tutorials. Which version are you using?

Macromedia offers an online tutorial:

There's also what appears to be an allright "from the basics" type tutorial here:

What, specifically, are you trying to do?

Yeah, Flash isn't the easiest program to learn to use, but it is a lot easier to learn that Director. That program was a nightmare. @_@

I've never used the MX versions though (only 4 and 5, the MX version is 6)

The reason why I was saying it was because they are both made by Macromedia, and they can cover some of the same areas on places like interactive CD interfaces and the like.

I had to endure 4 different classes for that program. I have Lingo permanetely embedded into my brain. :lol I have quite a bit of Action Scripting up there as well. :lol
