well... there are a number of free hosts out there, such as geocities, angelfire, or whatever. for these, you'll probably have to endure ads on yoru webpage, though.

you can also host on your computer, but, iirc, you're on a 56k modem, so that might not be the best solution..

the last alternative i can come up with is to have someone else host you - perhapes us, perhapes giga, at kraftfam.org...

i once proposed that CR grant staff members accts with 5mb, or so, allowences, to promote CR as they saw fit, but... we have less bw than CR, also, for one, etc, so... I'm not sure how theasable us hosting you is.

do those mentioned sights have limit or are they always free no matter what? Also I think my service provider lets all costumers make a web page they dont have to pay for unless they exceed a limit on space. Finally does it cost any thing to host it as a sight on your own computer? :?

well... some of the software you can use to host on your own computer isn't free...

but... usually, if you're hosting on a computer, you want that computer to have a fairly constant internet connection - also, while it probably doesn't have to be too fast a connection, 56k is pushing it...

but... if your isp lets you host with them, you should definitly try that! :) that's probably the best option, by far :)

yup... i've never heard of an isp that didn't make their pages viewable / findable by the general public :)

now getting your page archived by google... well... that's a tad more complicated... it took us like two or three months before we the FJ got indexed by google. but that doesn't mean you can't advertise links to your site here, and where ever else :)
