See a bad driver? Flip a tweet, not a bird

Here's the twitter page that CNN is referring to:

http://twitter.com/AKBadDrivers

Anyway, I think it's a fine example of hypocrisy - bad drivers being called out by even worse drivers. All in all, it reminds me of this:

Only called out by the subtle but growing population of people who use twitter. But yeah, judge not lest ye be judged. There's this website called thedirty.com that was actually started up by some guy in Scottsdale, AZ (close to ASU) where people post pictures of shallow guys/girls at clubs or fraternities, perverts and other arrogant and low specimens of society. But the thing is that it's always these really nasty or shallow people posting them in the first place and leaving horrendously degrading comments. The website is a good example of how shallow people can be.

Well, it wouldn't be that bad an example of hypocrisy if the people would just do as the site advises... ranting when you're stopped, or from the passenger seat. Sadly, I'm sure plenty of people just don't have the sense to do that, and probably won't until such things start getting treated like drinking and driving in the eyes of the law.

A lot of the tweets have a license plate number. I don't really drive but I don't imagine you'd remember that number for the rest of your trip. And unless your passenger (assuming you have one) is just as into twitter as you are, I can't imagine them tweeting about it.

Just imagine if your Mom was your passenger.

Me: Quick - Mom - tweet about that driver!
Mom: What's a tweet?

Anyway, thedirty.com sounds pretty dumb, as well.
