If you have just a dual-band GSM phone, it probably wouldn't work, anyway.

I recently went overseas and my phone - which I was told should work - didn't because it was dual-band and not tri or quad-band...

Mine's a quad-band and I actually have an overseas plan, but it's still really expensive so if I make/take any calls it will only be from family back in the US.


As for havin' fun, I'll try. It's a work trip for dad, well... he won't be working on it, it's more like a... "Thanks for being the top car seller in all of the USA" kind of thing...

Apparently we'll have 2 ocean view suites, but as of yet I'm pretty sure I'll be alone in my room. That'll be nice. [sarcasm]

Not that I have any problem with the trip, I just would rather be with friends than be alone. Hell. I would rather be with friends than be in the Bahama's at all.

I'm just going to be gone for about a month visiting.

As for visiting friends, I really meant I would've rather spent the 17k we spent on this trip for bills and maybe visiting a few friends back home.
