This webpage is actually far better:

http://downloads.skyzyx.com/index.php?fpp=20&did=8

It has versions of IE ranging from 3.0 to the latest 7.0 beta.

More information on how Internet Explorer was made to run as a stand-alone version can be found here:

Out of curiousity, have you tried any of those yet?

I'm kind of curious myself to see what the IE7 beta looks like, but I'm afriad it might mess up Windows.

Yup - haven't had any problems, either :)

I actually only found out about IE7 because it was posted on the blog of the person who did csszengarden.com:

Thanks for being my guinea pig then. :p

If it breaks something though, you're going to be in trouble! :no

Just installed IE7 Beta 2 and I have to say... it has some real cosmetic improvements over IE7 Beta 1. It also now supports SOCKS4/5 proxies as Firefox has done for a while. Whether or not there are any non-cosmetic improvements over Beta 1 above and beyond SOCKS proxy support is something I can't say.

Anyway, the beta can be downloaded here:
