It's a squid, it's an octopus, it's ... a mystery from the deep.

What appears to be a half-squid, half-octopus specimen found off Keahole Point on the Big Island remains unidentified today and could possibly be a new species, said local biologists.

Wow... weird. Pretty, too. So when do we get pet ones for aquariums? Hehe.

2007 must be the year for squid and octopie. I've been finding nothing but news reports about some country finding a bigger squid than the last. First Japan finds one, then Australia finds one, and now a hybrid has been found.
