Block Open Proxies => Connection Timeout

Postby tempted4p » Mon Jun 05, 2006 7:09 pm

I have 22 ports so what should i set "Connection Timeout" too?
If you leave "Connection Timeout" on default of 0 will it still check all ports?
And if i had set "Connection Timeout" to 20 sec, will registrants have to wait 20 sec or just the time taken to scan all ports?

TIA :)

The higher the connection timeout is, the more accurate proxy detection is. If it's 0, it probably won't identify any proxies what-so-ever.

As for what it'll mean if its 20 seconds... in 2.2.1, it means that 20 seconds will have had to pass between when the user first went to the registeration page and when they finally submit their data. If it takes them 30 seconds to enter it, they don't have to wait at all.
