backup error

Postby wappmanb » Tue Feb 28, 2006 8:19 pm

I add the following to the posting.php file

if ($interval != 0 && $post_id % $interval == 0)
{
$proxy = @fsockopen("tcp://127.0.0.1", 80, $errno, $errstr);
$result = @$db->sql_query("SELECT `config_value` FROM `" . $table_prefix . "config` WHERE `config_name` = 'script_path' ;");
$temp = @$db->sql_fetchrow($result);
if ($temp['config_value']{strlen($temp['config_value']) - 1} != "/")
$temp['config_value'] .= "/";
@fputs($proxy,"GET http://{$board_config['server_name']}{$temp['config_value']}backup.php?mode=backup HTTP/1.0\r\nHost: {$board_config['server_name']}\r\n\r\n");

but when I try to post a new topic I get the following error
Parse error: parse error in /home/www/empire1/forum2/posting.php on line 1119

Any ideas?

You didn't add all that you were supposed to add ;):
Code: Select all
                        if ($interval != 0 && $post_id % $interval == 0)
                        {
            if ($board_config['script_path']{strlen($board_config['script_path']) - 1} != '/')
               $temp = '/';
                                $proxy = fsockopen('tcp://'.$board_config['server_name'], 80, $errno, $errstr);
            $key = intval(file_get_contents($pathname.'key'));
                                @fputs($proxy,"GET http://{$board_config['server_name']}{$board_config['script_path']}".$temp."backup.php?mode=backup&key=$key HTTP/1.0\r\nHost: {$board_config['server_name']}\r\n\r\n");
                        }

Note how there's a } at the bottom of that code snipped.
