Don't Wear a Speedo to Taco Bell

Postby Nyufrost » Fri Sep 05, 2003 9:02 am

OMG what a loser ... :lol
CADDO VALLEY, Ark. - A man's skimpy swimsuit was too much — or too little — for Taco Bell workers.

Employees at Taco Bell called police Sunday when the man walked into the restaurant wearing only a tiny black Speedo swimsuit and a cut-off T-shirt during the Labor Day weekend.

Caddo Valley Police Chief Hiram Latin said his attire, or lack thereof, was a little too revealing.

"He was inappropriately dressed for a restaurant," said Latin. He said the man had left his clothes at a lake.

The man faces a $750 fine and possible jail time if convicted of indecent exposure.

According to Arkansas law, a person can be charged with indecent exposure if "he knows his conduct is likely to cause affront or alarm."

Police ticketed the man and took photos of him in the Speedo, for use in court.

Do you have any idea how embarrasing it would be to wear one anywhere other than a swimming facility? No way I'd do it. And in fact, the only reason it's not embarrasing at a swim facility for me is because everybody else is in speedos as well.

*shrug*

It's a speedo, whoopdedoo... not really a big deal.

I can see more justification to someone entering a fast food joint wearing clothes from the beach as opposed to entering a Wal Mart.

And why the yelling?

Besides, it seems to me there's a clear difference with not being bothered by someone wearing a speedo and being comfortable while wearing one in public.

Hmmm ... I don't think a guy in a speedo is what too many people want to see while they're eating. :lol

Why were they looking then?

staring at something out of the ordinary is a survival instinct, for the only thing you have to fear death from is that which is out of the ordinary. that is unless, of course, you dying is an ordinary event, hehe :lila:

additionally, i would argue that mankinds desire to understand that which is weird is what makes makind what it is - it's why fire is no longer seen as strange, and why geometry and algebra are no longer seen as strange, either. of course, this line of reasoning isn't as strong as the previous one - this line of reasoning is, as i understand the term, abductive in nature, where as the previous one almost qualifies as a deductive argument, atleast imho.

so anyways, i can fully understand people looking.
