What did you get for Christmas?

Postby Megafrost » Tue Dec 25, 2007 5:26 pm

I better write this down, I got so many things that I'm bound to have forgotten something:

A wooden desk (I had a lot of fun unwrapping this one)
A pillow shaped like the Decepticon symbol
A framed picture of my girlfriend
A tiny fan
Red sweatpants
A shirt that says "Time travel is so last week" in Back to the Future font
2 bags of beef jerky
A box of raisins
A bag of sunflower seeds
2 USB Flash Drives
World of Warcraft
World of Warcraft game card
Orange Box(consisting of Half-Life 2, Team Fortress 2 & Portal)
Mario Kart DS
Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3 (Wii)
Final Fantasy (NES)

Giga dumped a bunch of money on a Nintendo 64, Games & Accessories for J0E64, Chronofrost and myself. This box included the following:

A Nintendo 64(with the memory expansion accessory)
4 controllers
4 rumble packs
Super Mario 64
Mario Kart 64
Paper Mario
Yoshi's Story
Legend of Zelda: the Ocarina of Time
Donkey Kong 64
Bomberman 64
F-Zero X
Banjo-Tooie
Starfox 64
Kirby 64: the Crystal Shards

Also got 3 more games, these ones are for myself, and not my brothers:

Super Smash Bros.
GoldenEye 007
Conker's Bad Fur Day

If we decide to count what's in our stockings, I got a can of sausage(yuck), two cans of fruit, a box of raisins, a little wind-up toy, a box of pocky and a box of japanese rice candy.

Holy shit that list is big.

I like the tiny fan. ^_^

Here's what I got.

A poker set
VERY fancy chopsticks
Ken Follett's "Pillars of the Earth"
Yngwie Malmsteen's "Attack!"
Joe Satriani's "Surfing with the Alien"
Two astronomy magazines and an issue of TIME (the third of which will probably be gone tomorrow)
A DVD three pack (MP's Holy Grail, MP's And Now for Something Completely Different, Baron Munchausen)
Nightwish's "Once"
Enya's "A Day Without Rain" (say what you will, I like this CD)
a book on Muay Thai
Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened (an H.P. Lovecrat novel turned into a PC game)
Barnes and Nobles, Best Buy, McDonalds, and Taco Bell giftcards
a pack of socks
Overlord (PC game that's really popular, yet I've never heard of)
Cabella's fudge (doesn't look as good as my homemade fudge)
"Cosmos" (a book with images of every galactic phenomenon imaginable with text for each one)
a pocket knife/plyers/flashlight/beer opener/etc.
"Speed Reading Made Easy" (this WILL be gone by tomorrow)
a chocolate santa, 3musketeers mini bars, a Reeses Fastbreak, and a box of reeses pieces (all of which I ate in about ten minutes)

"Cosmos" (a book with images of every galactic phenomenon imaginable with text for each one)

I take it that's not the Carl Sagan book?

Anyway, I got the following:

24, season 6 DVD set
A black and white laser printer (I had a color inkjet but since I print so infrequently that by the time I get around to printing something, the ink will have dried up; also, the inkjet stopped working)
X-Files, season 3
three calendars (my Mom really likes giving calendars for Christmas, heh)
some UT Christmas ornaments
a 2007 silver proof set (the quantities mint sets are now produced in means they're not going to be worth much more then they're currently worth, but they're fun to have, none-the-less)
Civilization IV: Beyond the Sword

From Giga, I got the following:
Stargate SG-1, seasons 9-10
BSG, seasons 1-2 and Razor
Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings

So do I.

Heh, I don't ever print anything. I have an old inkjet buried around here somewhere... When I built my dad's computer last year, I totally forgot about him having a printer and needing one of those legacy parallel ports. I was like "Oops." That's how much I even think about printing.

Anywho, my Christmas list:

A PC sound upgrade that consisted of:
1)Klipsch Promedia 2.1 Speakers (from my sister)
2)EMU 404 USB DAC (from my parents)
3)Equation RP-21 headphones that I got for myself

Other stuff
Songs from a Secret Garden, White Stones, Dawn of a New Century, Once in a Red Moon and Earthsongs albums by the Secret Garden (all of their stuff, excluding the best of junk, basically)

and a few foreign movies that you've never heard of so I'm not going to bother to list. :p
