voting in florida

I'm not sure if I should be amused by this or worried by it:

Apparently Florida lawmakers vote multiple times for certain bills. They cast their vote and they cast votes for lawmakers who aren't there.

Apparently Texas isn't much different:



I have an idea! How about people not there when the votes are tallied don't get to vote? Or maybe let people vote on a bill online, for up to seven days. That way, they can vote even if it's time for their lunch break.
