it's a quote from a poem we were supposed to read in my english class:

the poet's duty is this
to improve on the blank page
i doubt if it's possible.

Hmmm ...

Maybe because a blank page is perfect and you can't improve upon perfection?

This only goes to demonstrate my belief that perfection is incredibly boring. I mean, there's not much more boring than a blank sheet of paper, right? I mean, unless you're folding it into a paper air-plane, but even then you're still changing it just as much as if you had written upon it, just differently. Er, those are just some of my random thoughts on the subject.

Basically, beauty is intricate, it is pretty, but it doesnt do anything but simply exist. And because everything must change, and is constantly changing, "nothing gold can stay"

I think the page is good as is. It doesn't need some useless symbols pasted all over it. Just look at the exerpt. ITS WASTING SPACE AND TIME! did we really need to know that?

hah. So you dont need a good book for entertainment, or to hold your notes on? or how about to solve math problems?

the paper looks good, in a way, but it is useless by itself.

Funny. I read the poem and thought it was about lack of confidence expressed by the author, not about the page.
