uhh.. Almost right, but you have to think that in French, "monde" can be not only used as "world" but also as an equivalent to people!

Heh, I can't really translate any of them... ^.^;;

But I can recognize that 2, 4, and 7 are latin-esque, since they so closely resemble Spanish, and 3 has a vague resemblance too. Of course, Terra's comment about #3 helps with that. #7 is the closest to Spanish there, but I don't recognize the last two words at all. It's looking like it's saying "So I hope that ????????" Well, Portugese and Spanish supposedly only had slight grammar differences, if I remember right...

#5 punches at my brain cells. Pronouncing it to myself, it sounds distinctly like something from an anime, which would compel me to think it's japanese written in its romaji form, but then again I'm not expert on the subject, and I can't understand it anyways.

I can see how #6 could be german, even if I have no clue what it says (but Taenadar pointing it out really helps that alot... ^.^;; )

That just leaves #1, which I don't really know.

Hey Giga,
Doesn't hget you any near to the token, but it's a great post. 2,3,4 and 7 are romance languages (they derive from Latin). However the 4th one is very difficult to know, because only around 8 million people can speak it. If someone gets all the rest, the token will be given! The 7th is Spanish indeed, but to be honest, Spanish is not so close as portuguese as you may think. Not only grammar, but also spelling and specially pronunciation is different. For me, it's easier to understand Italian than Portuguese (I am Spanish)
About the rest, you are as well in the right path 9although only in the beginning of the long path! :) )

I non molts qui parlen algunes

#4 looks sorta like french. non is no in french. molts is sorta like the french word for word. qui is a french sentance thingie, parlen is sorta like the verb parler, which is to talk, and algunes is sorta like anglais, which is french for english...

so, based on that, i'd have to guess #4 was "there are no words in english"? of course, as its not romanesque, i'm probably wrong, heh. anyways, my guess as for what language it is is... well, i can't recall the name of it, atm, but it was a weird language that some guy invented that was supposed to be a perfect language or something like that. it never caught on, though.

It's not French. I can tell you that...I take French. If it is French it's some ancient dead form of it, in which case 8 million people wouldn't speak it.

Wow.. you are the man... even That Man! :p
Catalan or Catalonian is spoken together with Spanish in three regions (kinda states) of Spain, including Barcelona and partly Majorca and Ibiza.
Being a romanesque language, as Terra attempted it bears lexical resemblance to other languages like Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese, or Romanian. Only he did not get them all right.
About the language he refferred to , I hink he meant Esperanto, which was an attempt to make all the world speak the same language, that would take the best of all languages and mde a grammar without exceptions, and so and so...

Number five is in japanese I think. I recognize the word desu and the rest definatly has that feel to it.

Since you are not repeating any languages, I would have to say that number one is chinese or something, but since I cant read the characters, I have no way of knowing.
