[..]

This is the time of year that DVD news websites like ours tend to look back to the past twelve months and talk about which releases were the best, or had the bext extras, or best quality. Or talk about the best and worst studios, and that sort of thing. Well don't worry, we're going to do that here...we're still getting it together.

I personally liked The Pretender. Not one of my favorite shows by any means, but it was entertaining and rather thoughtful. Too bad it got cancelled.

So, you watched the reruns on TNT? Or did your local station (I think it showed on NBC) decide that nobody watched it so they threw it into some horrible late night time slot?

Heh, reminds me of that time that Conan O'Brien came to Houston to do a show because our local station had him on at 3 oclock in the morning. He was going into college dorms, bus stations, all kinds of places during the time his show was on to try to find someone who actually stayed up to watch it at that time. It was pretty funny.

Probably when they cancelled it. It just ended, no season finale, nothing.

They did make a "Made for TV" movie of it, that came on TNT; it wrapped up most of the unfinished stuff.
