How do I get pickaxes repaired?

Postby Dookz » Sun Apr 04, 2004 5:58 pm

I went to nurmof and I click "use" from my steel pickaxe then i click nurmof, then he says he only repairs pickaxes! How do I get it repaired, how much does it cost and when should I get it repaired?

And speaking of pickaxes, I do not understand how a steel pickaxe could be better than a bronze pickaxe.

I know how. BUY ANOTHER ONE YOU POOR BASTARD!

Erm... sorry about that. I really have no idea about anything in there anymore. They keep changing the systems. Weirdness.

I am very poor. I do not want to waist a 500gp or 1300gp pickaxe if I can get it repaired. The problem is I dont know exactly how I could get it repaired by Nurmof. Can someone pls tell me how, Ive been struggling with one

Well first, you probably have to damage it. My pickaxe has not yet broken, so I have no idea what the procedure is, but guessing from what people have said, the head of the pickaxe might have to seperate from the shaft before you can pay to repair it.

Now, here is what I think is probably better about a steel pickaxe, although I have no idea if it's true: It probably breaks less often. You also don't have to click on the rock as often.

However, I don't know if any of the above is true. Ever since runescape 2 came out, all I've had is a rune pickaxe, and it has not yet failed me.

If I remember right, there are warning signs that the rock might go kaboom....like the rock is smoking or something.

if it breaks then i think ur pretty screwed
but if the handle falls off,
look around in about a 30 foot step radius
ull find it there

Take it to Nurmof in the dwarven mines, and he will either fix it for free or fee (heh). As for the handle flying off, pray that someone else doesn't pick it up (That happened to me with my mith pick...i had to pay in 10 coal to get it back ]>8(|
