Question about Backup [Attacks/Multi Backups]

I was asked this question:

The last time I've -quickly- checked this one, I see - but I may be wrong - it didn't seems to prevent to launch many backups at the same time, and also the main file wasn't protected against brute force: are the both fixed (if confirmed) ?

Now, ptirhiik is a pretty smart cookie [he writes CH for phpBB]. Perhaps you have heard of him?

So, thoughts on his findings?

Although that said... I'm not entirely sure what Ptirhiik is refering to, in this case. It won't autobackup at the same time unless you have the interval set to 1 post and you get a million posts ever second or something. The other way it could do it is if you just tell it to backup, manually, twice.

With regard to the brute forcing... it doesn't do the double authentication that phpBB introduced a while ago, but aside from that, it's login is about as safe as phpBB's default login thing.
