Problems installing Proxy.zip mod

Hi All

I am sorry to have to ask this as I am sure the answer is very simple.
I am new to adding mods to phpbb3 and need some help.

After opening the Proxy.zip file on my pc, I follow the instructions and start to add/replace the files on my phpbb3 server (via ftp)

All goes ok but I hit a problem with a couple of things.
The instructions state I need to:

#
language/lang_english/lang_main.php

I am using phpbb3 version 3.0.4 and can not file this folder.

I also need some real guidance with editing the SQL database settings, it's all new to me.

I would really appriciate some help as I can see by all the good reports, this mod works. My problem is, I am not really techie and need some support.

proxy.zip only works on phpBB2 - not on phpBB3.
